About

A FAMILY TEAM THAT OWNS BUILDINGS TOO.

We broker buildings, we build portfolios, and we own multifamily in Calgary and Edmonton ourselves. When we underwrite your deal, we're using the same standard we use on our own buildings.

The story

BORN HERE. WORKING HERE.

New Homes Alberta is founded and run by the Clark family out of Calgary and Edmonton. Alberta isn't a market we expanded into — it's where the family is from.

We started by buying and building our own rental buildings, then found investors kept asking the same question: how do we know the numbers are real? So we made that the whole business. Every project on our desk gets a proforma rebuilt from scratch — not a builder's spreadsheet — and we put capital in alongside the people we advise on the projects we partner on.

Most investors buying their first building hire an agent, then spend four months assembling everyone else — a lender who understands MLI Select, a broker who's closed one, a manager who can say whether the stabilization plan is realistic. Most deals that fall apart, fall apart in that gap. We work the whole file.

What we own

WE OWN MULTIFAMILY.

Our own buildings get underwritten the same way yours will. We run property management in-house, so the stabilization plans we write are written by people who take the tenant calls.

When we say "we check every number ourselves," this is what it means in practice: 56 active projects, 841 units, roughly $241 million — every one with a proforma we rebuilt by hand. Not one builder's spreadsheet among them.
